Game Recap

Rittman traveled to Northwestern and fell in 3 close sets 2-1 (27-29, 25-20, 16-25). Leading in serves were Miranda Brainard with 6 points and 5 aces, McKenna Marcum with 5 points and 2 aces, Taylor Sandy with 4 points and 3 aces, Amy Hunter with 1 point and 3 aces, Alyssa Wood with 2 points, Andrea Akers with 1 ace, and Brooklyn Dudich with 1 point. Setting up the offense were Marcum with 12 assists and Hunter with 8 assists. Akers and Brainard each added 2 assists, and Dudich and Zoey Sawtell each added 1 assist. Getting kills for the Indians were Marcum with 7, Hunter with 6, Brainard’s with 6, Wood with 3, Dudich with 2, Sawtell with 2, Sandy with 1 and Akers with 1. Blocking the ball were Brainard and Sawtell each with 1 block. Getting digs on defense were Sandy with 17, Akers with 15, Hunter with 10, Marcum with 9, Brainard with 2, and Wiod with 2. The Induabs are now 8-11 overall and 2-10 in the WCAL. They will get to rematch the Huskies again tomorrow night at home. Goodluck Indians!
