Game Recap

Another intense battle with a familiar foe!
It took less than 5 minutes but Austin St. Claire put the Red Riders on top with a shot from among the crowd.
Not quite 20 minutes later, Michael McDermott approached a loose ball and hammered it home for the sure thing. The assist came from Freshman Sam McMillen, his first.
The play was even most of the way, with Rittman mounting several attacks, but not getting the finishing touch.
With 15 minutes left in the match, Riders’ Daniel Rittgers was left alone and was found by Cain Duskey. Then 8 minutes later, Cain Duskey shot through a crowd of feet and into the lower right corner, off a pass from Austin St. Claire.
All in all, it was a lively match played well by both squads, but the good guys came up a little short.
Next up for Rittman is the big Senior Day game on Saturday, October 14th at 1 p.m. If the host Indians win against rival Waynedale, they will end the season either tied for third or alone in 4th place. A loss leaves them in fifth place in the WCAL.
