Game Recap

It was a well played, very intense WCAL match up of two of the leading teams, but the Bobcats got the better of it in this 3-0 victory .
Both teams had lots of opportunities and the action went back and forth throughout the evening. But Shane Eader put the Cats up just 9 minutes into the contest. The score remained 1-0 for the rest of half. But just 4 minutes Isaac Klingman was able to gather a loose ball in the box and place it home.
The struggle continued as both teams played strong, aggressive soccer. Jared Moeller finished the scoring with 15 minutes remaining to seal the victory.
The win puts Norwayne at the top of the league while Rittman is settled in fourth place. With just 2 games remaining for most teams, there still are four teams that have a mathematical chance at being champions.
The Indians are back in action on Thursday, Oct 5th when they travel to Rootstown for a 6 p.m. varsity match.
