Game Recap

The going was tough at Chippewa. The first 15-20 minutes was exciting back and forth action, but the boys experienced a difficult breakdown. Within 9 minutes, four goals were allowed. This proved to be too big of a hurdle. The final score was 6-1.
The Indians had their chances, but none that were able to convert. The final tally did come when Will Swartz advanced the ball down the right sideline and made a long cross that caught Grant Frase in stride. One touch to allude the Keeper and Grant planted his shot into the nets. The pace increased for Rittman after that score, but time expired before any more tallies could be made.
Next up: Smithville, Tuesday, Sept 5th at 7 p.m. on the Smitties football field. They are presently 2-0 in the WCAL and 3-2 overall, as Rittman sits at 1-1 in league action and 3-2 on this young season.
