At Rootstown – originally scheduled at Rittman, but the field was unplayable. Theirs was slightly better – pasty compared to muddy & slushy!

The play was almost even but the first half scoring belonged to Rittman. At the 25.08 mark Eli Vale sent a long pass up the left side which was controlled by Grant Frase. Frase maneuvered from left to right lining a cracker into the net.
With 15.03 on the clock, Paul Werle settled a hard pass and laid a beautiful pass off to Grant Frase, who took it closer to the goal and blasted a shot from the right side beating the keeper.

The second half was more even on the pitch and became exciting when the Rovers were granted a penalty kick at the 29.19 mark. Michael Farkash hit the nifty shot into the netting.
Rootstown was not finished, as they scored with 13.60 remaining to knot the game at 2-2. Gabe Oropesa demonstrated his skill and speed as he dribbled through the Indian defense and dumped a pin-point pass to senior Isaiah Schweizer who provided the finishing touch.

The Indians regained the lead for good at the 3.10 point when again Eli Vale corralled the ball near midfield and sent the pass straight forward to Grant Frase. who managed to avoid several defenders on his way into the box and delivered the decisive blow.
